Lets face it, the search for the best vape pens among the hundreds of available brands can seem like an impossible task fror the first time e cig / vape pen user. Even for long term papers such as myself (5 years vaping) it’s a daunting task choosing the best e cigarette.
We are going to do our best though!
Having tried over 80 vaping products we are in a good position to offer a little advice on which ones worked well for not only us but for friends and family we have come to us for help.
How Do I Know What Is The Best Vape Pen For Me?
Good question. There is no one size fit’s all answer to this unfortunately, so all we can do is guide you and show you e cig options.
But since the question has been asked lets take a look at the main electronic cigarette product categories.
Cig-A-Like / Mini E Cigarette
These, you may have seen, are the e cigarettes that look similar to a tobacco cigarette. For many smokers making the switch this is often their first port of call due to the familiarity they provide.
I personally think that while a vape pen (coming next) would be the ideal place to start if you want familiarity then these can be a great stepping stone to the 2nd generation of products.
The main issue vapers find with the cig-a-like e cigs is the battery life, which is incredibly short. The other issue is that the cartomizers (while they can be refilled and reused) are not really designed for using your own e-liquid. I personally started on Green Smoke e cigs and found them great for my needs at the time.
Vape Pens / EGO E Cigarette Kits
Referred to by a few as 2nd generation e cig devices vape pens are said to offer the bigger chance for smokers to make a successful switch from cigarettes.
There are man options of vape pen and if you don’t mind using the bigger devices then I would recommend these as the best place to start. Many brands such as Vaporfi, V2 Cigs and even Blu Cigs offer good options for vapers.
These types of electronic cigarette offer longer battery life than cig-a-likes and refillable tanks which in the long run makes vaping a lot cheaper than buying refill cartomizers.
Box Mods / Vape Mods
These types of vape devices offer a super sized option to the 2nd gen e cigs. They come in many shapes and sizes and offer different functions but one thing for sure is they offer superb battery life!
They also offer the option to sub ohm vape which for many is the only way to vape!

The main thing is to first think what you want from your e cigarette. Do you want long battery life? The ability to use your own e-liquid? Something portable that can be carried around on nights out? Ir maybe you really do just want something that looks like a cigarette similar to what V2 Cigs and Green Smoke have to offer.
